I'm alive! Happy New Year!

Hello everyone I am alivE!!!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year family and friends!! Sorry I have yet to update my blog, we went to a town called Tatopani (hot water) and had no Internet there!

Christmas was awesome, we went to this really cute bakery with the team and we all were surprised with gifts from our parents, totally made my night. It was so magical! Thanks mom and dad :) I love you guys!!

The days are going by so fast now!! I can't believe in just 50 some days I'll be on a plane to Hawaii!!! I'm still the ONLY one from my team who has yet to get sick (drop like a dead fly) I'm still soaring like an eagle!!!! Thanks for the prayers!!

Nepal has been awesome, in Tatopani we helped carry some bricks up a hill for the local church, I may or may not have broken my back carrying bags of bricks on my back haha and then on top of that the next day we did a day hike up to a village to do a house fellowship (bible study thing)

Oh yeah and we went to the border of Nepal/China!! We got to go to China for like 5 minutes, it was pretty sweet!! In Tatopani they have hot springs so Nadine and I got to take baths and hot showers for once! :)

I am going crazy I think...no wait, I'm not. Nepal has been awesome. Tomorrow we leave for Nuwakote ( don't look this up, I don't know how to spell) and neither do the Nepalis. We will be there for 2 weeks doing a lot of prayer, worship and interceeding. I am really excited for that :D

Sorry anyone reading this if this post makes no sense, it's 1am on January 1, 2012 baby!!! I'm writing to y'all from the future!

I miss everyone and can't wait to be in good ol Washington again :) I never thought I'd say this but... I MISS BONNEYLAKE! :,(

Oh and my miss my bird friend, you are doing crazy things in the Philliphines I know it. I love you oh so much. Drinking tea here without you is so strange.

Jesus is totally awesome.

No nuts for me, I'm allergic

Hello family and friends and people who read my blog :)

Sorry I haven't updated in a while! My days are seriously all turning into one long day and I'm always confused and never know the time or day here, ohwell that stuffs not important.

(bird friend, I can't wait to dance with you in the tin and go on mini adentures in Hawaii with you!!! :D) I am writing so much in our little journal, random thoughts, venting, dreams, wag I miss you!!!

Yesterday I accidently ate a peanutbutter cookie, I couldn't say no..this little Nepali boy was so cute. Anyway I ran back to base (20 ish min run) then Josh, my outreach leader stabbed me with my EpiPen and after that we took a micro (crazy bus thing) to the hospital! The hosptial was crazy lol, made me miss America A LOT. I got some weird shot there that made me laugh a lot, $10 later I was discharged from the hosptial and sister (weird nurse lady) took out my needles and we went back to base. It was awesome to say the least.

My brain has gone completely crazy, living in Nepal, the culture, everything is so different. Different in a good way, a new learning way. I'm so thankful to be here though. I do wish I could snuggle with my mamma right about now and maybe eat a cheeseburger. (killing cows is illegal in Nepal)

I just got word that Washington has snow, I am a jealous little turkey!!! Eat some snow for me y'all!!!!

Miss you all, and love you guys!

Brr...

The weather  is getting colder and colder here, I'm talking about a sleeping bag, two blankets, leggings, sweats, two sweaters, a hat, lots of hand warmers at night just to sleep.

I am having such a blast here in Nepal! I can't believe just 9 days till Christmas, it doesn't even feel like Christmas, although we are doing 7 days of caroling with the Nepalis, we trek about an hour up a mountain and sing Nepali and American Christmas songs, it's so fun! :)

Yesterday was the first day of our Christmas soccer cup, we played a Nepali college team, we beat them 3-2!! First of all, the field we played on was so dangerous, hahah it was a crazy bumpy unleveled dirt field with goats running around, it was so crazy! Today at 3 we are playing slum kids, (I heard they were really good!)

Some prayer points for my team:

-People are getting sick one by one, please pray for health and safety over my team
-Homesickness, people are missing home right now during the holidays
-Pray that our ministry here would be fruitful

Thank you so much for your support and prayers, I miss you all so much!!

Emails of encouragement would be nice to receive, ;)

I don't know what to blog about..

Hi family and friends!

I am alive, tehe. The past few days have been crazy amazing! We have been so blessed to stay at a YWAM base in Godaveri. We aren't exactly ruffing it yet, we still are sleeping in beds (warm beds) we have water, (clean water) food, (goodish food) warmth and we get to wear super cute clothes! The people at this base are super duper nice. Today and yesterday we walked up to the villages and did some open airs, ( singing songs, sharing the gospel, doing crazy dances to get peoples attention) and we got to pray for a lady who couldn't hear and now she freakin can!!! Praise the Lord, He is so good. Man, I am learning so much about God and His love for people here. I am loving the Nepali people and all the little children. :) These next few weeks are going to get pretty busy, we have ministry all day and I can't wait, we have so many opportunities to share the Christmas story and it is a nice gateway to share the gospel!! I miss everyone at home!!! I can't wait to come home and share all my stories with you.

I think I will go to sleep now, but I will try to update everyone again soon with more stories!!!

Hugs,

Mero naam Allie ho (my name is Allie)

Today was another beautiful day in Nepal,
started out my day reading in Isaiah 220

In that day people will throw away
   to the moles and bats
their idols of silver and idols of gold,
   which they made to worship.
21 They will flee to caverns in the rocks
   and to the overhanging crags
from the fearful presence of the LORD
and the splendor of his majesty,
when he rises to shake the earth.

22 Stop trusting in mere humans,
who have but a breath in their nostrils.
   Why hold them in esteem?

Nepal is over 70% Hindu and about 3-5% Christian, I have so much faith in God and my prayers are not silent, Nepal is such a beautiful country filled with such beautiful people and I am praying and waiting for the day where they will turn away from false idols and turn to Jesus, a savior who loves them so much.

Anywho! The children here are freakin adorable, I am in love with all of them!! I heard it was illegal to put them in my pocket so instead I will just give them candy and dance around to Justin Bieber with them :)

Nadine, Jodie, Jenna and I spent a few hours playing soccer, learning Nepali and teaching the kids fun dances today. They LOVE Michael Jackson. Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Black Eyed Peas and Miley Cirus! Hahah glad my iPod is full of that music ;)

I am so sad to leave Kathmandu and the kids behind but I am really excited to pick up our punjabis (clothes women wear here, look up in google images) tomorrow and trek up to Godaveri where the YWAM base is. There we will be doing some friendship evangelism, sports ministry, Christmas programs in schools and some house church bible study thing!

Christmas in Nepal will be a new experience, along with New Years, Valentines Day (not like i  have a BF LOL) oh and my birthday! Eat some cake for me on February 16th!

"This generation of Christians is responsible for this generation of souls on the earth!" — Keith Green
^ I like this quote a lot, playing with all the children today knowing they don't know Jesus makes me that much more stoked that I have the Holy Spirit inside of me and Jesus is something I can share with them, it is my responsibilty to share Jesus and I am so excited to!

Sorry this post is so random I am just so excited to be here to do work for Gods Kingdom, I gotta go though!

Thanks everyone for your prayers!

Love, Allie and Blanky

Showers in the Tawain airport?

Hey everyone!

This morning team Nepal left Hawaii around 9am and we landed safely into Tokyo, Japan! Then hopped on a plane to Tawain and we are in the airport, we have a 4 hour layover so we all decided to take showers (considering it will probably be my last real shower for a while)

I am so exited to get to Nepal!!! I am running on about 4 hours of sleep in the past few days? I am going crazy...blahh! We have a flight to Thailand and a sweet layover of 9 wonderful hours!!! Then we will soon be to Nepal! Yee ;P

Thankyou everyone for all your prayers and support! Means so so much to me!! I can't wait to see what God is going to do in Nepal, pray for safety over my team as we continue to travel!

Love you all!

Counting down the hours until Nepal..

Ok, so for everyone who has decided to read my blog, here are the rules;

-I don’t always spell things right, I type just how I talk (using like a lot and slang)

-I also rant about crazy things and get excited about EVERYTHING

Ok, here I go… I have been here in Honolulu for a few months doing my DTS (disciple training school) with YWAM ( youth with a mission)

In a few hours I am leaving for Nepal and I will be here for about 3 months. I am going to spread the love of Jesus, that sounds cheesy but here in America we have had multiple times to hear the gospel when some people out there have never heard it once! Sad L

I don’t know what else today, I am jumping around the house like a crazy jumping bean just being crazy! I am so excited for Nepal and my team! Oh my team, they are awesome!!!!! I should post a picture of my beautiful team!!!!

Well, I love you all! Thanks for whoever decides to read this, even if its just one person, you rock…go YOU!

Love you all!
